About Handy
A local trades directory and job tracker built on neighbourhood trust, not lead fees.
Most tradie platforms charge the tradie for every lead, whether the job happens or not. That cost ends up in your quote. Handy does not sell leads. Homeowners search for free, tradies list for free, and the two of you talk directly.
Why licence checks matter
In NSW most building and specialist trade work needs a licence. Every Handy listing shows the licence number the tradie supplied, and we ask you to confirm it on the NSW Fair Trading register before work starts. Profiles are also reviewed by a person before they go live.
Starting small
We are live in the Inner West, Ryde and the Sutherland Shire first. If your suburb is not covered yet, leave your email and we will let you know when it is.
